Amelia

Massage Therapist
Amelia has been a professional massage therapist for 9 years. She left her previous job of 8 years at a salon to join Platinum Health’s team in October of 2020, in hopes to build a more personable approach to healing with her clients. Amelia loves to share her knowledge of holistic approach of massage when it comes to anxiety, depression, moderate pain, headaches, back pain, and general body aches from every day stress and tension of life. Her technique is a mixture of acupressure and Swedish massage, giving the massage a one of a kind experience. Her massage goals are to learn Chinese Fire Cupping, Shiatsu, and reflexology. She believes in the science of promoting relaxation first in a massage to gain ultimate healing. She says, “If the body or mind isn’t in some kind of relaxed state during the massage, then the muscles are fighting back; they grow tense and become weakened. The main goal is to have the client lay down on the warm table for a few minutes before I even enter the room, which automatically creates the environment of healing in the clients mind and muscles. With the mixture of medical and Swedish, it still promotes a more relaxing approach while ensuring the muscles, knots, tension and tightness are properly addressed.” Amelia looks forward to continue working in this community and joining people on their path to holistic health.
